Start with the site

Walk the property with the contractor. Identify entrances, loading zones, parked vehicles and areas where debris collects. Document access restrictions and preferred service windows.

Define the work

Agree on the surfaces to be swept, edge cleaning, litter pickup and how debris will be removed. Discuss whether porter services or pressure washing are separate work items.

Make quality review routine

Use a consistent checklist and dated photos. Review missed areas and adjust the schedule as conditions change. Ask the provider to confirm its equipment and current insurance directly.
